Sally most women ovulate 14 days before their period is to start. So count backwards 14 calander days from when your period is supposed to arrive and start bding a couple days before. Ex. if your cylce is 30 days count your fertile day would be day 16 with the first day of bleeding being day 1(not spotting) I would start bding on day 12 everyother day until day 18 just to make sure you hit the right days.
