i wanted to start trying for a sibling for our 1 yr old baby but i just got off from birth control pills. is it safe to conceive right after or should i wait for months at least for the pills to subside?

you can start anytime after off pill and it's safe because once you stop taking it the hormones are gone. my friend just got off pill 2 weeks ago and now she's pregnant.

i am very disappointed! my doctor told me to wait for 6-12 months before trying to get pregnant because it may affect the development of the fetus.

i don't agree. there are some women who get pregnant while on the pill and gave birth to a healthy baby.

I got pregnant the first month coming off pill. I never expected it to be that fast. I was also concerned about the hormones coming off the pill would affect my baby but my gyne told me that it won't harm the baby.
