Ovarian Cysts, Surgery, and Babies

Hi everyone,
I've just been diagnosed with having ovarian cysts. I was told I have follicular cysts. I've just been reading a lot about them and researching all I can. I was devastated when I found out that this could mean infertility. I'm supposed to meet with a surgery team on the 22nd of this month. I'm starting to really consider surgery. I'm just so scared of it doing more damage to my ovaries and not being able to ever get pregnant. I want children so badly. Can anyone who's been through this, give me any advice please? Also I was reading about a drug called Clomid that could help with ovulation. Is it safe to take clomid after this kind of surgery? You're feedback means so much to me. Thank you.
