Can a BFN become a BFP???

Hello ladies. I did my first round of Clomid 100 mg and back-to-back IUI's this month. Today, 11/26/12 is 10 dpiui and although my RE advised against it, I couldn't help myself and I took a test. It was a BFN. I feel so sad. The reason my RE advises against taking the test is because it will most likely come back positive due to the HCG shot. So I was prepared to see a BFP knowing it may be a false positive. However, does seeing a BFN 10dpiui mean it's a definitive negative???? Any stories similar to mine that ended up either neg or pos???? Please share!!!!
