Visit your local gynos and speak with them about what your going through. You will need to make sure you have your cycle dates and your ovulation dates. They may do a few tests. And also get your husband checked out too. By speaking to a proffessional about if and when it will give you a clear idea on your next step.. ***B*A*B*Y***D*U*S*T****

Mary - I had tests done and the doctors - they did an ovulation blood test on day 21 (you can also test this yourself with a chemist's kit), a few blood tests on day 3 of my cycle (testosterone, thyroid and a couple of others) and a sperm test of my husband. They can then do more tests on the women for rarer conditions but in England they don't normally test the man anymore. They can also do a scan to see your uterus and ovaries. Mine revealed a problem with my husband so had to do IVF with ICSI. The tests are quite easy - its the waiting that's hard. They normally refer you to a specialist if you've been trying for 2 years or more even if all tests are normal. Jade - 8 months isn't that unusual so don't worry. Good luck and hope you get pregnant soon.
