Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I've been on but it looks like everyone is on their way to hopefully positive results this time around!!! I had to skip last month but af came today so I will be going in tomorrow a.m. to see if those darn hormonal cysts went away, and hopefully starting my 2nd round of IUI but 1st time w/ an RE. I was reading everyones comments on the insurance part and thought I'd comment. I actually looked around at the RE's I was referred to and found out if any accept insurance. There was only one doctor that I found in my search that would accept insurance instead of making you pay and collect on your own. Fortunately, I have insurance that covers all of the fertility procedures, blood work etc., with the exception of my office visit ($25), but as for the insurance it covers a percentage but some of those meds are still pricey. What I found is if you order online through Caremark.com you get a larger quantity for a small price. For instance the HCG shot at Walgreens or CVS was going to cost me $72 but I get it online for $10 and they ship out Fedex, no charge. Also, my prenatal vitamins can only be given in quantity of 30 each month through these stores, but Caremark allows your doctor to write a scrip for 90days and I pay the same price for a 3 month supply opposed to a 1 month. It would be worth checking it out. So far I have only found Clomid to be the same price at those pharmacies, why, I have no idea. Good luck to everyone!!! Baby Dust!!!

Hey, everyone hope you all had a good Holiday. About the cost of drugs at Costco, Clomid was if I remember $30 and Famra was less I belive I payed less then $20 because it is not strictly a fertility drug therefore my insurance kicked in and the HSG shot was $30. I got my injectable drugs from Freedom and it worked out nice and the cost was the cheapest I could find.
I go in for blood work on Thurs. hoping my FSH levels are normal so I can try for injectable and IUI this cycle. I am really sick of seeing the drugs in the refgerator of three cycles now and not being able to use them.

Hey, I was also wondering where everyone went.. Started first round of injectables on the 9th increaseing dosage on the 13th hopeing for the IUI on 23rd or 24th... Happy Holiday and best to all !!!!!!

Hey!! I had my u/s today. I have two follicles on my left side both measuring 18. I will do trigger tomorrow and IUI on Monday!! WHOO HOO!!! Good luck to you GMH!! We will only be a few days between each other!! How exciting!!

That sounds really good montie75, I can't wait until Sun for bw & u/s to see what is going on... I guess I never thought I would be excited about bw and u/s in my life let alone giving my self a shot... boy how think change.... well good luck lots of baby dust keep us posted....

Hey guys, we're finally comunicating again, great! gmh I'm doing my IUI on the 22nd so we're gonna be on the 2ww together! I'm just using femara, but I hope that it'll work. montie75 good luck with your IUI. Chele, let us know how the testong goes. Hopefully it will be a bfp so that you can be done with this shitty wait and we can have some hope for this month also. Take care!

Hey everyone, just waiting again BW & u/s on Sun. and the estogol (spelling questionable) was low it actually went down sence Fri. So increase dose of Gonal-F again and have more BW and u/s on Tues. morning so just hope I can get to that IUI.... montie75, hope the IUI went good.... baby dust to all....

Good afternoon ladies!! My IUI went well this morning, however I am in some discomfort this afternoon. First the nurse couldn’t find my cervix so she had to get the doctor. Well, she found it fine, however getting the IUI thru my second hole was a pain, so she clamped onto my cervix and pulled them closer to her and boom it fell into place. OMG, I have to say……..that Hurt!! I think I had tears in my eyes. She told me that the last time she did that procedure like that, the lady got pregnant. Well, I sure do hope she passes that luck onto me. The doctor did tell me that my cm was great looking and that my uterus was high. Is that good?? I sure do hope that we all have good luck this month. GMH, I wish you the best on your next visit. Babybaby, you are only a few days past me!! That’s cool. We can wait together. Hi, thanks for all your positive wishes.... I tested this a.m. and bfn :( however, the doctor told me that it may be too early and if I get a bfn to wait two more days, so.... That's what I'm holding on to now. Wow, sounds like everyone is ready to start a new round. I'm wishing you all baby dust! Montie75, I had chills reading your post. I just relived my last IUI through your post! Hopefully this will be the one! Time for bed. Lots of Baby Dust to everyone!

Chele, I am sorry for your bfn, but the doctor is right……it may be too early. I will keep you in my prayers!! I have to say, my IUI procedures are not getting better as they move on!! The last two I’ve had have been painful and stressful. OH well. Nothing in life worth getting comes easy, right gals?? I am now getting sick with a sinus infection which stinks and my ovaries still hurt. What a Christmas!! Hahahahaha. Big hugs to you all!!

Montie75, that last IUI I had (2back to back) was painful and every issue you had, I did also.... If I have to go through it again (hopefully not), I hope it get's better!haha Hope you feeling better.
