Erin - Iam going to a fertility specialist. I have changed 2 doctors and none have found any problem. Can you tell me if you had any symptoms from say 10dpiui to 14dpiui... until before you got ur BFP ?

Hello! New here but me and my husband have been ttc for About a year and 3 months with no luck. I'm 24 and he is 25 and is everything seems to be fine. The RE has found no problems in any of our test results. I had my first iui last month and I kinda felt it in my heart that it did not work. I was 4 days late but something told me this just was not the time and a couple days later af showed up today I go back for an Ultrasound for follicle check because my RE thinks I should try again with injectables. I'm a bit nervous but I pray the second time will end my wait!

Thoshi,

I am trying to remember... I know my very first symptoms were sore boobs, small queasiness from time to time, and my sense of smell was like legendary. I took a test on day 12piui and got a BFP. My suggestion is wait until 12-14 and test. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to decode symptoms, let me know how it goes! xoxo

Hello again, just a quick update, 10 wks now, had an ultrasound at about 7 weeks and got to see the heartbeats! I was amazing, I totally cried. Things are good on our front...

Yay thoshi!!! Congrats! What did the Dr. say, everything look good?

Hey Kaylen1o.... what are you up to, still trying? Sending good vibes to all...

Hi Erin ..
Congratulations !!! Its nice to know things are fine.
I had a scan on 5th week and got to know Iam pregnant with triplets. All of them have growth of upto 5 weeks. However, doctor says we might have to do a selective reduction as triplets is very risky for the mother and all the fetus.
Iam due for my 6th week scan in 2 days. Need to see what happens. Iam also getting brown discharge from past 2 days. The doctor says we might have to wait until 6th week scan and then check the growth of the fetus.
Me tensed right now ...

Hey Thoshi.... WOW... I was not expecting that! Well first off congrats... any child is a blessing. I don't know how you feel about selective reduction, but I would recommend Dr. Barbara Luke's book Twins, Triplets, and Quads. It gives good information on the actual process, and procedure, but it also explains that a lot of people have perfectly healthy "supertwins" as they refer to them as. It's a personal decision that you and your significant other must make together... no one else. I'm sure you must be crazy with worry already. If you need to talk... I am here. xoxo

Hey Toshi, any updates???

thoshi - September 19

Hey Erin, I just got my 9th week scan on saturday. Two of the babies have grown well and heart beat is fine. However, the 3rd one has grown only upto 6 weeks and then have stopped growing. Heart beat was also not detected.
Doctor says, we dont have to do anything as the underdeveloped baby would vanish on its own or would come out during the delivery time.
How about u ? What are ur updates ?

Hi all!
This is my first time posting. I am going to have an IUI for the first time this cycle and am so excited/nervous! My husband and I have been trying for 10 months and apparently I don't ovulate most months. Over the past 10 months I have had one chemical pregnancy and one ovarian ectopic on Clomid. This cycle I am taking Femara days 3-7 and Ovidrel. I have an ultrasound on cd 12 and from there I guess the RE will tell me when I will be ready for the IUI. Wish me luck!

Erin3015 - September 21

Hi EHK welcome, I got pregnant on my fist IUI cycle so good luck!!! Keep your faith :)

Thoshi! I have been thinking about you. I am sorry to hear about the third baby, I can't imagine how hard that must be. I will say a prayer for you. When is your due date? How are you feeling?

We are good, both babies are growing well and according to ultrasounds they are sucking their thumbs already! I had an NT test around 12wks and it showed a small increased risk of the possibility for down syndrome for both babies, but I am trying to be positive and keep my faith they will both be healthy. We will know more at our 20 wk ultrasound, and we find out the genders then as well. I hope to hear from you soon, your kinda like my pregnant pen pal! xoxo

Thanks Erin3015 and congrats on your pregnancy!

Thank you! I am sure I will be congratulating you soon enough!

hello ladies! congrats to erin3015 and thoshi! well i posted on this thread about a year ago, my hubby and I did 3 IUI's with femara and HCG and no success. We switched RE's back in January and on the first visit my new RE palpated an enlarged thyroid and I had an elevated TSH level (which btw, was elevated at my previous RE but it was not told to me nor treated...ugh) So after being put on synthroid my thyroid levels are perfect now. DH's sperm has low motility and morphology. Initially the new RE said we should save for IVF with ICSI. She put DH on clomid to stimulate the pituitary to make more testosterone and healthy sperm and also on Conception XR (motility support)and his numbers have improved so much so said we should try IUI with Follistim/HCG/Progesterone suppositories. So today is cd3 and i went in for labs and ultrasound. Labs are good so starting 75iu Follistim tonight through cd8. I am hesistant to get excited because it was sooo hard last year when we didnt get pregnant but I also want to be positive! Anyone else going to do IUI soon? I need some cycle buddies!

Hello to all, this is my 1st post on this website.
I am 27 and my OH is 25. We have been trying for a BFP for 3yrs now but no success. My OH was checked and his count is good, where it should be. I have been checked also, bloods on diff days of cycle etc, had a HSG and its all clear, no blockages, I have a perfect cycle, never missed one and never gotten pregnant, the gyny can't find ANYTHING wrong with me, which is frustrating, I ovulate every month. Gyny said that we are like a 3rd of couples, unexplained!! Is there anyone that can relate to me?? Gyny is sending us for IUI, she thinks we should have app in 8wks, but what happens, how long does it all take, what do they do?? Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Baby dust to all!!

Stacey1225: Welcome back! I had my first IUI last month with Femara days 3-7 and it was unsuccessful. This cycle I am on Femara days 3-7, Follistim 75 iu and HCG. I triggered last night and tomorrow will be my IUI so I will be your cycle buddy even though I am a little ahead of you. Hopefully I will get a BFP this cycle to give you some inspiration.

Hopeful Marz: Welcome! I just had my first IUI last month and will have my second one tomorrow. The IUI is so easy! I told my husband that I would rather do it this way than the old fashion way because it's less stressful trying to time everything ;) At my Dr's office they monitor me with bloodwork and ultrasounds around cd 10-12. From there they can tell me when to trigger and come back for the IUI. The morning of the IUI my husband goes in and leaves his sample (which he said wasn't nearly as embarrassing as he thought it would be). I come in a few hours later with a full bladder and they inseminate. It feels like a pap smear and it super fast. Afterwards, I lay on the table for about 15 min and then go about my day. Easy Peasy!
