I haven't posted in a while. I had my last IUI on Jan 27th. Our dr. only wants us to do 3.....well technically after the first one and my hubbys numbers were so low (1.3mil) she said we should go straight to IVF but we wanted to do the IUI's and so we have. The first 2 times his count was 1.3mil and this time it was 6.8. A great improvement but still extremely low. I am going to test next friday Feb 11th if I haven't gotten AF yet. There is a lot riding on this. I don't know if I want to do IVF but my hubby just assumes that is our next step. I would rather start the adoption process. I hope this doesn't become an issue for us. Anyways, sorry for the sporadic thoughts, I'm a little emotional at the moment. Anyways.... I have less than a week before I know.

So I have been stalking this board for a few weeks now. We have just begun our journey. I am 28 with one child and my husband is 35 w/ no children. We have bee ttc for 2 yrs now. I had my day 3 bloods and u/s today and my HSG is scheduled for Monday. All sounds good right?! Not! I just found out the my insurances timelin does not coincide with mother nature's and I will prob. have to wait yet another month to get my 1st IUI. I know I should be happy that I have unlimited IUI coverage and great IVF coverage but I am sick of everyone saying wait.... I don't want to wait anymore!!!! Sorry... had to get that off my chest, I am so frusterated!!!!!

Hello all! After looking at tons of forums about infertility I decided to join one. We just had our first IUI. I am on 3dpiui. Our issues were low sperm count and motility. My DH's sperm count was 26 million and 90.5% motility. He is on clomid. We did a clomid cycle with trigger shot. We shall see what happens but we have been TTC for over 2 years. I'm ready and DH is ready. Hopefully it happens!!!!!!

Hello All! Well Im new to these forums but all your comments have really helped me thru these times. I have been TTC x 1.5 years, Dh sperm count was good, but motility was low, I had my HSG test on dec 2010 and everythins seemed to be good. I had my first IUI on Feb the 17th , i got ovidrel trigger shot on the 15th and started prometrium 100mg 2xday on the the 20th. So now Im in the 2 week wait that drives me crazy. My Dr recomeneded 2 IUI rounds and then to try IVF, so Im really hoping this helps. I had been on clomid 100 mg x 5 months + this month that i took for my first round of clomid. baby dust to everyone!

our final IUI failed. It was weird, everything felt different after that. I felt unsettled.. like I had no home. weird. Anyways, we had an appointment with the fertility specialist and talked over IVF. I personally have some views on embryo transfer/freezing, etc which are going to probably make things more risky (money wise) but like I told her, as much as i want to be a mother, I want to follow my beliefs and do what i believe is right even more. So now, we wait.. we wait till I can find a part time, second shift job (i recently had to quit my job for some weird reasons) so we can afford to take out some sort of loan. second shift so once I get the job I can keep it while we have a million dr's appointments. I am stressed to the max. by the way... in the material my clinic gave me, it said that "many women being treated for infertility have as much stress as women with cancer or heart disease." crazy huh? but i'm sure many of us understand it!

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and I decided to join. My story I have unexplained fertility and I been trying for a while now. I did my iui #1 last month (20th) which I got BFN on Feb 3rd. Now I'm going to start my next iui next week when my af comes. I really hope it works this time around with my DP low count. I'll look forward to hearing some good news from all of you soon.

hi hopeful2011, Hope you get your BFP soon. I know how much the 2ww is I dread it. I will be startimg my next treatment cycle on friday so i'll we be in the 2ww soon i really hope for good news soon. Baby dust to all.

Hiya Jac1019, how are you feeling? Any symptons? I've been to see my dr today to start my next treatment.The Dr and I both come to the decision to go for IVF as more success rate so I'm starting with injection today. I'm feeling a bit more hopeful now so fingers cross for my BFP SOON? Jac I hope you get your BFP this weekend? Keep me inform!!! Baby Dust to us all.

Hi ladies,
I haven't posted on here in ages. I think probably last October.
DH and I have been TTC for 1 year now and the whole year has been through a fertility clinic. I have PCOS and rarely ever got AF. Since this past November AF has been regular every month, which is a good sign, but still no pregnancy. We've done 4 IUIs in total, the last one was 2 weeks ago and AF came today. I still went to the clinic to test. I have yet to hear from them, but it's clearly a BFN.
Our next step is IVF. I'll be starting bcp in mid April, then we go to Cuba in May and when we get back is when I will start the injections. Hopefully by the summer I will be pregnant.
I wish you all the best of luck! It's bound to happen to all of us sooner or later.

I haven't posted anything for a while...things have been kinda hectic and busy...My daughter was born extremely premature...at only 24 weeks of gestation....she is still in the nicu and most likely will be there till her due date in april 17th, but she is such a little fighter and has shown an amazing will to live.
best wishes for all of you that are still trying to conceive, those little angel(s) still waiting for you...don't ever give up hope...I didn't and I now have my beautiful little angel.

Hello all! I am new to the forum and have enjoyed reading everyone's stories. My husband and I just had our first IUI this past Friday and now we are on our dreadful 2ww. We have been trying to conceive for 9 months without success naturally. I had irregular periods after being on birth control for 7 years and so my OB started my on Metformin and Prometrium. My periods regulated for a couple of months but still no pregnancy :( Then my periods started coming about every 24 days so I decided to see a specialist. My labs were great but US showed several follicles on my right ovary so even though my labs were normal the doctor wanted to keep me on the Metformin, and start me on clomid and do IUI with the next cycle which was just completed this last Friday. I also did an Ovidrel injection. On Wednesday I had a 17mm follicle as well as multiple other follicles, so I did the Ovidrel injection on Thursday and IUI on Friday. My husband's sperm count was 157 million live with 100% motility so we are certainly keeping our fingers crossed :) I wish the best of luck to all of you. Baby dust to all :) I will keep you updated.

Morenas - im so sorry to hear about your baby being born so early. Im glad she is a fighter. Keep us posted on her progress mama. Take care
very_hopeful - I do understand how nervous the 2ww is. Hubby and I had our 2nd IUI done on Thursday (3/31/11). Kind of nervous, bc his count was much lower than it was the first time we did it back in 09'. We have a beautiful little girl to show for that IUI. Good luck to you mama and keep us posted on if you get that POSITVE test.
