i'm back in the 2ww. my husband and i have discussed our options of becoming parents and we've decided that this will be our last round of fertility treatments. (at least for a while anyway) we are pursuing adoption. i had 4 good follicles this cycle and we get to test on oct 16th. to be honest, with us going for an adoption. i don't feel near as anxious or worried about this cycle.

Alrndn- I Hope and Pray you get a BFP!! I go to the doctors on Wednesday to see how many follicles a have, if any. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Elliemae, looks like we mite be doing the 2ww together! Will be gng in for iui in 10 days or so, will update u. I started clomid today, so far no side effects, I hope I don't get any.

ingenue~ Yeah a cycle buddy. I really don't know when my IUI will be. I was told 10 to 14 days on the injects. tonight is my third night so I figured that it would be sometime between the 12th and the 16th. Ill probably know more after the scan on Thursday. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Is it your first IUI and first month on clomid?

Just stopped by to say good luck to all...Baby and I are doing good after a scare due to a subchorionich bleed...it was so scary. I am now 12 weeks and 3 days and bled for about four weeks.
Baby dust to all...it does happen.

Hi all, wb moerena!
Elliemae I did one cycle of iui last month with just a trigger shot. This is my first month on clomid...hot flashes, and headaches..hating the symptoms. 2 days down, three more to go. I hope this all ends in happy healthy babies for all of us

Hey ladies! I hope to hear about some BFP's soon from you all! Our first IUI was a no go, AF came the day before I was suppose to test! I Didnt think I would be that upset, but i was hysterical for 2 days, I think the hormones from the meds played a part in that also. I am now ready to go for IUI #2! I finished taking my pills today (Femara 5mg on days 3-7). I go for ultrasound on monday (11th) to see if follicles are ready.

Hi Stacy, I was miserable for a couple of days when af showed up on the 3rd. Got on clmid for first time now, and gonna go in for u/s on 13th to see how many r ready. We're a few days apart...yay cycle buddy! We can go thru the slow torturous 2ww together..

Stacey~ So sorry the witch found you. I hope next cycle will be a BFP. I know it is rough especially when meds and extra hormones play a part.
Ingenue~ I hope that clomid does the trick. Good luck in the 13th with your U/S.
AFM ~ I am triggering tonight and my IUI is Sunday morning. Trying to not get my hopes up too much. Really want to stay grounded in reality.

morenas: i'm glad to hear that you and baby are doing good.
ingenue: maybe you should talk to RE about switching to letrozole. my dr told me that it has less side effects.

well ultrasound was this am, have 2 nice size follicles but they want them to get a little bigger, they want me to take HCG trigger shot tomorrow night and also start estrogen vaginally tomorrow night cause the lining of my uterus was just a little bit thin (it wasnt last month so im thinking its from the letrazole), IUI scheduled for Thursday morning! on a side note, i went and had a chiropractic adjustment this am also cause i have read several things about that helping.

Happy Monday ladies~ or not. I had my IUI yesterday. All went GREAT! Dh's count was through the roof. I had 2-4 follies that were ready. Now it is just waiting.
ingenue~ how did the u/s go? inquiring minds want to know. LOL
Stacy~ Good luck Thursday, I hope that this one is a winner. LOL about the chiropractor, I did not know that it could be benificial. I went two days before my IUI. Ill take any help possible.
morenas~ I am glad that you and baby are doing well after such a rough start. It is an inspiration that there is always hope. I hope its all wonderful from here.
