Hi girls : ) Sorry .... I didn't respond sooner, as usual I was caught with work since it's the month's end. ISA ... WELCOME! So glad you found us. By the way, I turned 37 this year and dh too turned 39 this year, we started our road fo ttc since Apr04. It's must have for tough journey for you and dh. I just want to add you might want to research and look into TCM for male factor issues. My dh had some male factor issues begining of our journey but it was quite easily rectified by taking Tcm med, after approx. 4-5months, dh's sperm count increased by 4 folds and motility had a huge jump of improvement but it's morphology that needs more working on. ISA ... have you read acupunture can be an aid to ivf??? We'll be doing acupunture soon as our physician find an acupunturist that specialises in ferrtility issues. I hope our experience with Tcm helps : ) Though .. I wasn't able to carry my pregnancy to term but it helps to know that Tcm has help treated the male factor issues for us and I was able to conceive when dh's sperm morphology by WHO standards was considered not ideal for ART. We're still newbies at this "ttc thing" and to date both our doctors(2 different fields of meds) haven't mentioned ART at all. I'm don't know much about Turner's Syndrome. A girlfriend of mine got pg with ivf and had just mc'd ( RE said, very likely due Turn's Syndrome) however she was told there's still a very good chance of having a healthy pregnancy. Our mc was due to chromosomal issues too however we haven't had any further testing yet, my ob/gynae will do some dna testing if I don't get pg by the year end. Keep us posted with your test results. We'll be here for you : ) VAL - Sorry to hear your back's hurting again. Have you been helping out alot on the farm lately??? I sure there're lots to do on the farm ... I just hoping you don't strain yourself too much. Yessss, time flies and I'm cd20 today, opk tested +ve on Friday night, last night I had some cramping on the lower right side again and temp dipped, this morning ... Sunday morning for me. I figure, I'm ov'ing right on time and this cycle is back to normal ... I'm somewhat relieved : ) Woman ... you think your'e ov'ing in 4days ( I think it's 2days now) ... put on something "sexy and juicy" tonight and get to "work", heeheehee : ) I'm sure the hubby will be more than pleased : ) Guess what I did this cycle ... I starved the hubby from cd12 and he was more than happy to get to "work" on cd16, heeheehee : ) I got to tell you girls this, I started my prescription(one that's suppose to clear the uterus) since I had the go ahead from my physician that it's not going to affect ov. Day after I took it, I had a "jello like" opague cm, the size and size of a pearl (sorry for the description) than it turned into "sticky milky" cm again the next day. Well, finally on cd16 I had fertile cm ... I'm hoping just this 1 dose of the new presciption helps. I going back to my regular presciption today... I think it for boosting the hormones back to balance or something. VAL - did you call your RE yet??? Ladies, thanks for the info : ) I've bee drinking lots of water : ) COL - How's everything with you??? Come "talk" to us soon : ) Got to go now, got to go brew my med and take it today Have a nice weekend : ) Take care and God bless : )

Hey Sann, re your friend m/c due to Turner's is very different than me having Turner's. 15% of chromosomal m/c is due to Turner's. Turner's is only something girls have. If the boy conceived and it is missing an X chromosome it will abort itself as boys cannot survive without an "x" chromosome where as girls can (they are Turner's)Anyone born with Turner's is infertile when born or by the time they hit puberty. I am a mosaic which means part of me is messed up (my case 20%) and 80% of me have normal cells. Problem is we dont know which parts are messsed up and the fact that only 100 turners have recorded pregnancies (and almost all were mosaics ) the likelyhood of my eggs being any good are slim to none. The fact that I ovulate, get af on a regulary basis are all positive things but doesnt mean there are eggs in my follies or if there are eggs what they are like. My chance of having a m/c is over 50% b/c of my Turner's. It's taken me weeks to learn what I know and its very difficult in a few short sentences to explain it but if they told your friend she should be able to get pg again than she does not have turner's it would just have been the embryo that may have had it (and unless they tested the matter it would be a guess). It is rare that a full Turner's embryo would not abort itself. Re my dh -no way would I get him to take anything else. He still hates taking the 2 stresstab vitamins the fertility doc told him to take. He wont take anything else. Besides now that we might do ivf, there is not problems as he has enough for icsi. After spinning he has good motility and between 9mill and 13 mil per try. Glad to hear your ovulating. I am cd 21 today, o'd on cd12 probably.

Val - August 2

Sann - that's too bad about having to log in! I didn't realize they had changed this forum over to that. I hope you get your computer problem worked out soon so you can come back! COL, you must still be at your training? Hope it's going well. ISA did your ECG turn out ok? Well, I'm on cd19 and got +opks yesterday morning and evening. Been doing the deed daily. Not sure whether to do it more than that... don't want to run out the supply of spermies! I'm trying to think really positive thoughts for this cycle!

SANN - August 4

Helloooooo Ladies : ) I have contact .... got my notebook fixed, yayyyyyy : ) TTYL

SANN - August 4

Hi girls .. how's everyone doing? ISA, thanks so much for the info. I hope everything goes well for you and dh. Have you read the book yet? VAL, I crossing my fingers for you. I not sure if bd'ing everyday will affect the quality of those little swimmers but we were told to bd every other day for higher counts to increase chances. Anyway, we went for our follow up this afternoon and both of us are given new prescriptions. I'm cd24 and I think it should be 4dpo, my temps started to rise 4 days ago and they're really high. I think that means I'm officially in the 2ww. COL, how's training? Hope you're doing well. LADIES ... since this loging in problem is fixed, post any board you want to ... I will follow you : ) Take care and have a great weekend : )

Val - August 6

Hi Sann.... sorry I didn't write for a few days - was at a music festival. How are you doing? You must be around 6dpo? I'm 4dpo and kind of bloated today... not feeling very well actually... achey and have a sore throat. I'm going to go lie down but just wanted to say hi. COL, are you back from your training yet?

isa - August 7

cd26, temps dropped yesterday and again today and spotting started. full flow will arrive in the night or in the morning. it's so devestating each month when she shows up. No results on ecg for quite awhile but they said to me it appeared normal other than something on the right was proportionally larger than something on the left side. No holes between valves (yeah good thing) and my renal u/s is aug. 18. after those come back the geneticist will meet with us and give us the go ahead for ivf or more tests.

SANN - August 7

Hi Val ... music fest, bet you had a "party" hahhhh : ) Sorry ... you're not feeling good. Bloated ??? Is that a sign : ) ??? I'm doing fine ... so far so good : ), no "emontional roller coaster rides" this cycle. Going to be home for the whole week but working still though (per physician's order ... no "office stress", in fact not suppose to be working at all but I can't help it) It's 7dpo and temp's still high. Counting down 10 days to testing if af doesn't show up : ) No signs except bbs hurts ... pretty normal these days, so not counting it as a sign. Wednesday is a holiday for us ... Indepence's day and dh will be off from work till next Monday : ) We're going go hunting for a Fertility Monitor ... the ferning kind(opk strips are drivng me crazy). I when looking for it in the local pharmaries, they don't have them (this country is one of the best in the region for medical science and technology .. especially for obstetricis and gynaecology, couples flock here seeking ART ... go figure) Sorry for the venting there : ( Have you used one of those "Ferning" fertility monitors? How's work(on the farm and music classes)? It's summer for you, right ... what kind of stuff do you all do in summer? Since it's the 2ww ...I can't do much and again per physician's orders ... no strenuous stuff. I just picked up a new hobby from my dad and dh, radio controlled car racing. I forgot to ask ... have you done a hsg? I was "talking" to someone over the other board(problems getting pregnant) and there was a mention of hsg. Didn't cross my mind that my tubes could be blocked. But my doc did say everthing's fine. What you think are the possibilities of blockages (did get pg)? Hope you feel better : ) COL, how are doing???? Still at training??

Val - August 8

Howdy... ISA, did af show up today? If so, sorry :-( SANN, my RE said that after 3 rounds of clomid, an hsg will be our next step before IUI. I think some doctors do the hsg before clomid though, since the clomid won't do much if the tubes are blocked. How are you doing? You must be 9dpo? I took it pretty easy today (5dpo)... I'm getting over a cold of some sort. Hope you have good news for us soon!

SANN - August 8

Hi girls : ) ISA ... I missed you post yesterday, notebook didn't download it (wish I'm more tech savvy) Sorry if af shows : ( How are you holding on with waiting? What's the expected date for your results? Patience isn't my virtue .. waiting just drive me nuts. VAL ... Great to hear you're taking things easy : ) How many cycles have you been on clomid so far? Yep, ob/gynae said though she feel there aren't any issues(tubes) but will definitely have to do a hsg first just to be absolutely sure.. well that was the only time she mentioned hsg other that, one time before last pregnancy. I just called my physician about not being bloated this cycle, just found out bloating is due to a low progesterone level or indigestion from too much carbo intake ... dumb me, hahh! Anyway ... I'm 8dpo actually. Like I said, feeling good ... so far so good ... maybe it's the new meds but it taste horrid : ( Temp's good too, still high ... 99.11F : ) Crossing my fingers ans toes. How are you doing? TTYL

COL - August 8

Hello ladies I am back, oh my god I am so glad I am back, it was terrorizing in that course, I can’t believe I survived it. I finished 4 exams, still 3 to go.
I read your posts, sounds good for all of you. Sann, congratulations on your logon problem solving, which was perfect. I am crossing my fingers for all of you ladies.

I am on CD 8. I am trying to minimize the stress, but it’s not really working for me. : ) : )
Val, hope you are doing well, and thanks for asking about my training, it was very hard, really hard, but who cares, I am home now. : ) : ).
Talk to you all.

SANN - August 9

COL ... glad you're : ) Hey ... "woman of strength", you survived training and 4 exams in 2wks.... 2 thumbs' up for you : ) You've 3 more exams to go??? It's like going through Uni all over again hahh! Ohh! .... don't we all "love those days" : ) I hope you're giving it a couple of days for your "batteries to be charged" ... get some rest and find some time for your acupunture sessions for the stress. TTYL

isa - August 9

Well I'm cd 2, AF showed up but she isnt as heavy as she should be and I know I'm not pg because my temps are 96.8. Wow 99.1 I don't even get my temps up higher than about 98.4 on a good day ( I"m usually lucky to hit 98). I have low normal temps and my regular body temp is not 98.6 but about 97.8. Good luck to you all this round. I had an hsg before clomid and inj. and he said it was ok but when I got the print out of it later on I found out that the one tube was free flow (they saw the dye come out) the other side they didnt see they dye come out but it did come out -I forget the term, so I'm thinking I might possibly have 1 tube problem. I have to ask him about it but I want to wait til I get my other genetics testings done and see him after I have the whole picture put together. It will be 1 or 2 more natural cycles then we might do the ivf thing.

Val - August 10

hi ladies... ISA, how are you doing? Sorry about af. :-( COL, welcome back! Glad you survived your training - it sounded pretty tough! You are one busy woman! SANN, how are you today? Still have high temps? I'm on cd8 and keeping going back and forth between being hopeful and not. I have had some symptoms similar to the month I got pg, but I've had that happen before. Went in for the progesterone test yesterday. I should hear the results tomorrow, I think. Had a dream this morning where I went in for an u/s and they said I was having twins!!! I was so happy in the dream. Hoping maybe there's something to it. Anyway, hope everyone has a great day! I'll check back later today.
