you can choose to visit your doctor just before you start trying.mostly women at your age, finds it difficult to get pregnant.

if you have been trying for a year to two with no luck, then visit your doctor for further investigation.but, if you're already suspecting that you have fertility issues, you should see your doctor sooner rather than later.

Hello Macy. There is no hard and fast rule. Some people succeed after just one month. Many don’t succeed for years. That does not mean they are infertile. Or that they have any problems. Consulting a doctor ASAP is always advisable. Getting a professional’s help is always a good thing. It will help you be clear about your situation. You can find out early on if there is any problem. Or if there are any precautions you need to take. I hope this answers your questions. Good luck! I hope you manage to conceive naturally and fast. Keep trying.

Hi there. It seems like you are new to this forum. Welcome. Now about your question. There is no strict timeline. Consulting a doctor early is a good idea. Don’t wait. Many people wait until they are sure something is wrong. That is not the correct approach. By then it is usually too late. The problem might have increased by then. Or become harder to cure. It is better to be safe than sorry. Visit a doctor as soon as you can. Good luck!

Hey. Yes, your periods do seem to be late. Still, don't worry just yet. Ask for a doctor's opinion first. Don't diagnose yourself just yet. I would recommend going to a doctor ASAP.The sooner you find out the cause, the sooner you can start fixing it. Good luck!

Hello. Once you cross your 30s it becomes harder to conceive. Therefore, it is better to be efficient. Visit a doctor early on. If possible, also visit a fertility specialist. This will help you find out if there is anything to be worried about. I don’t mean to alarm you. It’s just that this way you aren’t in for unpleasant surprises later on. Finding a cure becomes easier the sooner you diagnose the issue. Don’t let my answers discourage you. That is hardly my intention. Just keep trying. Don’t lose faith. Ask for help as needed. Preferably from a professional.

Hello, there dear. Time is money! And in your case, it couldn’t be truer. I am not saying that you will be infertile. Despite that, unless you go to a doctor you can’t be sure. If you go to a doctor early on then you will soon know if there is any problem. Or if you need to take any extra measures. This way you won't have to waste time trying out unsuitable options. Or your money. Infertility treatments do not come cheap. I, myself made this mistake. I didn’t know what the problem was. So, I wasted so much time and money by investing in the wrong treatment options. So, my advice is to go to a doctor as soon as you can. Good luck!

Hey Macy, hope you are doing good. My advice would be to visit your doctor first thus, you can have a complete checkup. It's better to identify the problems as early as possible. Your age can also be one of the factors as women of your age find hard to conceive. Sometimes small problems which are treatable can be a hurdle in conceiving. So get your tests and scan done so the problem can be identified.

Hello Macy. Good luck with your efforts. I hope you manage to conceive quickly. Also, that your pregnancy goes by smoothly. Now, coming back to your question. It is never too early to visit a doctor. What’s the harm? By going to the doctor you will know for sure if there is anything you need to do differently. This can really save time. Failed attempts can be taxing on the couple. They can be highly demotivating. Save yourself the emotional turmoil. Visit the doctor as soon as you can. Good luck! Keep us updated.

Hey there. I'm sorry to say this, but yes. Scarred ovaries can make it possible. Is she menstruating fine? Sometimes scarred ovaries can also affect that. A trip to the doctor might be a good idea. 5 years is a long time.

Hello, Macy. There is no time limit about getting pregnant. It can happen anytime. The situation of every person is different. Some couple conceives in a very short time. However, for some couples, it takes years. If it is taking longer in getting pregnant, it does not necessarily mean that you are infertile. Time is another important factor in getting pregnant. For how long you are trying to conceive? Have you consulted the doctor about it? Have you or your husband taking any kind of tests? Consulting doctor is the best option. It will help you to get the better insight of your situation. Six months is not so long. I will suggest you to keep trying for a baby.

Hi Kim. I think it is normal that you do not have your first period. Many people do get it at the age of 18. I think you need not to worry. You should wait until your 18. After that, you can go to a doctor. It is not necessary that if your friend or sister is getting her first period at the age of 16, then you should also get. The case is different for everyone.

kovenippof - November 9

Hello, Macy. For how long you are TTC? There is not a specified time for TTC. Pregnancy is different for everyone. Some couples manage to get pregnant within a month. However, for some, it may take years. Not being able to get pregnant is not always linked to infertility. There may be other reasons. Age and time are two of important factors. I think you should visit a doctor. You are already 30. Don’t make it too late in consulting a doctor. I think you and your husband both should consult a doctor. I wish you both good luck. I hope you become parents soon.

kovenippof - November 9

Hello, Priya. I hope you are doing fine. There can be various reasons for irregular periods. The reason can be your lifestyle. It can be due to hormonal imbalance. Can I ask your age? Age is one of the important factors of irregular periods.
