Hi im 15 and i have never had a period...my mom was going to take me to the doctor when im 16 if i still dont have one. could i have amnorrhea?

Kim are you developed normally for your age? Don't worry sweety, it's early still to diagnoze amenorrhea. I have one and I am 29 yrs. Wait till 16 and than go check. I have some friends that they didn't get periods till 18 or so. Don't think too much on this. Not everyone are the same. Good luck and best wishes.

hey dont worry...u know what...i was 15 n a half years old when i had my first periods...although my other 2 sis ters had when they were 12...so it varies from person to person...n my mother too started worrying about me,...but everything turned out fine...dont worry...n enjoy ur self...

my grandma had her first period when she was almost 16 years old, my mom had it when she was 19 and me when i was 17. sometimes it runs in the family. no worries it should be normal.

Hello dear. Don’t worry just yet. You are just 15. Plenty of time for you to start getting your periods. There are many women who didn’t get their periods till after they were 15 or older. Despite that, they managed to lead normal lives. Lives that also included kids. So, don’t be alarmed. Your mother is right. You can visit a doctor when you are 16. Till then just relax.
