Sterility/Infertility question....

I don't know if I imagined reading or hearing this years ago, but I always thought Scarlet Fever could cause a man to be sterile. I have searched the internet today, as me and my husband have started ttc, and have found nothing. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I hope I am mistaken. My husband had Scarlet Fever when he was young and this has always worried me. I hope my worrying was for nothing. Hope someone can help!

I found an answer on the internet which seems to say mumps can cause male infertility but scarlet fever doesn't especially. It says if you're worried get a sperm test done at the doctors.
