My sperm count

I got my sperm analyized and they said I have a great count. However, I can't get my wife pregnant. She says it's because of her age of 42. I think it's my sperm because if it were so great, I know it would have done something. I feel like such a loser. What's the point of a great sperm count if it doesn't do anything for your wife? I might as well be shooting blanks.

Well my friend i know how you feel, i feel my husband feels like that to, he has a low sperm count, motility and viabilty. We have to spend lots of money that we feel that should be done natually! Im sorry for how you feel, dont feel that way and age does have alot to with it. I will pray for you, as you can pray for me.

Film, the count is part of it, but do they swim fast, and are they shaped right is part too. 42 is pushing the edges (stated by a not so young female) so remember that she's feeling awful too. Remember that it does a lot for your wife. It's not all about reproduction, as I keep telling dh and myself. It was for better or worse, remember?... and I can imagine worse, although right now after several years of trying to achieve and keep a pg, this feels the same as worse. One thing I've figured out over this horrible journey is that if we love and support our partner's pain, it's easier. Good Luck!

Wow! Always on the other threads there were so many discussions between that I had to look for the ones I was on. Obviously the guys need to work on feeling ok if wives discuss this. Look folks, sperm are part of this. Can we get past the stigma and discuss it honestly like we do our eggs please?
