i am planning for a 2nd baby very soon. we are trying really hard for 2 months now but still no luck. i wonder if the lubes we are using prevents me from getting pregnant. please share me your thoughts here.

yes! lubricants can interfere with the ability of the sperm to travel to the uterus to fertilize an egg. if you are TTC and feel the need to use lubricants while having sex, choose the one which is water based. hope this helps.

absolutely yes!! instead of using vaginal lubes, why not engaged in long foreplay. ask your partner to do more hugging, kissing and touching. this way, it will stimulate natural lubes.

if you cannot avoid using lubes, choose the one that is safe and effective
for contraception such as pre-seed. it has been proven and tested to be
safe on women who are trying to get pregnant.

there are sperm friendly lubricants that you can use and it's perfectly ok. just remember not to put the lubes on the head of the penis.it is also important to perform oral sex and foreplay to make vagina slippery.
