Hi everyone, I am 23 about to be 24 at the end of this month. I am currently seeing a RE and we are going with IUI. I have did all of the dianostic testing and so far everything was good, (FSH, E2, LH, HSG) The onnly area of concern was the MIS test that came out low. I have been TTC with my husband for 6 years and never have gotten pregnant. Hopefully the IUI will do it. My Hubby has low sperm mobility and he also suffers from erectile dysfunction. We will be using donor sperm. RE recommended Clomid and maybe we might use Lupron for my first IUI. I didn't ask him why but this will be my first IUI. Why is he going to give me Clomid and Injectables with my first IUI if I am using donor sperm and my test results were fine?? Has anyone been through Clomid and Injectables on their first IUI?? Any success stories Please!! I will have IUI in July.

hi stella. I am also 23 years old. I was diagnosed with pcos so we knew we would have to go to a fertility specialist when we were ready to concieve. I was put on clomid because i dont ovulate on my own. I went to get an ultrasound to see how my body responded and it showed i had 2 mature follies. My dr did the injection to make sure I ovulated and wanted me to do iui the next day on may 11th. they also have me taking prometrium and metformin...so now i have 8 days until i know if it worked or not!!!! :) hopefully i will have a success story for you! Best of luck to you!!

Hi guys! Thanks for the responses. Went to me RE today and we have chosen a different path. We are not going to do IUI anymore. We got approved for a grant from NYS for one IVF cycle. The cycle includes medications during the cycle which is wonderful! we will be using my husbands sperm. TESA and ICSI is also included so we have a better chance of success. I am nervous about doing IVF but the Grant covers most of the cycle and the cost to us would be the same as doing IUI. Very happy about this and i will be starting the cycle hopefully on July 4th. Please wish me luck and I wish the best to all!
