Have PCOS and was just prescribed Metformin to assist with the weight issue (which Im told is a large factor in my infertility, although I wouldnt consider myself THAT overweight... MUCH larger women than me get pregnant!) Just curious if anyone has had luck with Metformin and at what dosage as well as how long it took to conceive?

i don't know much about metformin. they say it's effective and i've read a lot of success storie about it. but with the weight issue i say yes it's true. that's what my doctor told me. so if you're planning to conceive it's best to lose weight.
