My doc gave me antibiotics just in case. I have had crampy feelings since test at noonish yesterday, but no bleed or discharge since an hour or so past the test. It wasn't as painful as I was terrifed of either; I've had worse blood draws. I'm on 2 & 1/2 years ttc. Good Luck!

Hi ladyjs, I had mine on this past Friday, they actually did it twice. The first time no dyed fluid went through my tubes and I was devastated. The doctor was so kind and said, you know, that there wasn't a good seal around the balloon, and if you are game, we can do it again. It hadn't hurt me the first time, but the second time, he pulled the catheter down to ensure a good seal, and shot the dye and it did hurt a lot, but just for a few moments, and then, BINGO, he said that it opened them up and they were both open! I never cried tears of sadness and tears of joy so close together before. We are going to try like crazy this month because I keep hearing that many women become pregnant right after. Fingers crossed! Since then, I haven't exactly felt residual pain, but I do feel kind of "different", kind of pms-like, but maybe this is just how you feel when your tubes are open, I don't know. Hadn't even known I had any obstruction there, I've had 2 kids already, just years ago. Good luck to all of you, and to me too!
